Great job once again out-cheering the Jersey scum in their own joint. You guys were all I could hear on TV. Can't wait to see the pics.
Very well done everybody. You had Dave Johnson and Garth Lagerwey singing your praises all night. Ryan Nelsen, in his post-match interview, even said that he thought that DC had more supporters in attendance than the Metros. Awesome. p.s. Somebody needs to spell check the banners before they get finished.
oh man, just got back home i have no voice i have a fever (not mpf thank god) and I also had the time of my life
what an awesome time...the metros attendance was terrible..good thign we were there to provide some atmosphere! The players really did appreciate us making the trip after the game they spent a long time over by the supporters section and gave us quite a few round of applauses. Then when we stopped at a rest stop the team bus just happened to pull in behind us..talked to a few of the players and they really appreciated us making the trip up..a good time was had by all!
I had a f'n blast... oh man did I have a f'n blast... I was shocked to see how empty the stadium was.. but the Metro fans know better... We provided the atmosphere and it was great for the whole 90+ minutes... Thanks to my brothers and sisters from La Norte, Barra Brava and the Screaming Eagles... You guys gave me a night to f'n remember for a long time... First road trip ever for me, so I can safely say... BEST ROAD TRIP EVER... Dougg La Norte
had to work tonight, left at halftime, so i missed both goals...grrrrrrrr......saw them when i got home...yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa....the travelers that went to the match were amazing in Voce....could hear them on the telecast. Now we just have to rest and let the livers settle for next week.
You guys f'in rock. CSN had many great shots of you all going nuts after the goals, plus the chanting was fully audible. I don't know if the ESC was there but they made nothing like the impression you did. Well done again.
I had never been ins the sections with you guys and gals let alone on a road trip. I want to thank everyone for helping me to have a trip I will never forget. Oh yeah I also want to say.......nothing cause I can't speak, and I still can't get the red paint off my face.
I can't either! It's going to be great tomorrow at work explaining to people why I lost my voice and how much f---ing fun that was!!!
Terrific job.... You looked great on TV. I had a bunch of folks at my house watching the game on the big TV. They were surprised a the level of away support. How many people went up? You looked and sounded like a really sizable group on TV easily out cheering the Metro fans.
Two full buses, one from the Screaming Eagles, and one from the Barra Brava. That's about 100 right there. Add in the number of people who came up on their own or who are United fans who live in the New York City area, and you're probably talking close to 200. But we made it sound like there were 2,000 of us.
I'll give you scum this you had a nice turn out at our stadium. It will be a cold day in hell before you think any Barra or Faggy chickens will come to us and out-cheer the ESC. By the way how is that fan of your doing who got roughed up by security? You guys have no class.
Just FYI the Metros announcers were talking about the "Who's your Daddy" chant and talking about how the DC supporters made more noise than ESC Good job!!
Yeah, that is why all three different broadcasts mentioned how we were outsinging your pitiful support. Cant wait to sweep you New York peices of sh!t out of the playoffs Watching the mass-exodus of the ESC after the Esky goal was probably one of the sweetest moments of my life.
When DC scored that second goal, from the sound on TV, you would've thought that the game was being played at RFK.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that! That roar was unreal! It probably helps that it was scored right in front of us and it was a pretty sweet goal
