He's been lights out this year for NYRB to the point where I'd say he's the best RB in all of MLS. Extremely skilled for a RB, good aerial game and never gets beat.

    Behind Lichaj and Chandler.

If he can stay healthy he will make a good living in MLS. I don't see much more than that.

Too old at this point with Lichaj. (Lichaj is) 2 years younger and playing at a much higher level. He might make a decent backup, however.

Barklage has been a revelation for NYRB this season, enabling Solli to play in the midfield. He is a good crosser of the ball and a decent defender. Having said that (a) he is far from the best RB in MLS*, (b) has played 20 games or so as a pro and will be 26 by seaoson's end, and (c) see (a) and (b).

*Beitashour, Myers, Hainault [Canadian, I know], S. Williams, Sean Franklin, Alston, Loyd, Hunter Freeman, Heath Pearce, Tony Beltran= Right backs (or guys who have played right back) in MLS who are better than Barklage and whom I'd want to see before Barklage.

    Skevinrules and GiallorossiYank repped this.
