Thanks for the heads up Jefe, although the wife is not going to be happy about this one. I'll be forced to go to Hooters.

Yeah, I'm bummed about it, too, since they had good wings to go.

But a man's gotta stand on principle. Coaches should not be allowed to verbally abuse refs, since that's the fans' job.

Maybe we should ask Hooters to pay Pescadito's latest fine.

More often than I probably should. Why wouldn't I? It would never have even occurred to me to not eat there since they sponsored your park. Do you drink Budweiser products or own a Honda or Toyota?

The only place I flat out refuse to go to is Shell, and that has nothing to do with sports.

I didn't figure anyone would, but some people are nuts you know. But no, I don't drink Bud nor own a Honda or Toyota, but its not because they sponsor Chicago.

At least they're watching and supporting the team. It's good for soccer here in the states. I'd rather give a soccer supporting business my $ than a business that ignores the sport.

even if it is those wankers down south

Something just doesn't sound right when a metroplexian refers to a Houstonian as a wanker.

I do not eat at Pizza Hut. Not do I partonize Wing Stop, though I doubt there are any around here. I make these choices for a simple reason. My pizza is better than anyone elses, as my wings are better than anyones except BWW.

Is there some lack of ovens in Texas I am not aware of? If you cook, you get to eat what you wish. As long as you are willing to pay the price for disobedience. ZAP!

    Dead but dreaming,
    Scipio Diabolus,

    Contra.

Two more people to hate. Kasey Khane, Ray Evernham....

Um, I know I hate Houston, but I think this is fantastic. If more companies get involved and enjoy MLS, more people will too. If people think it is a popular and legitimate league, more coverage and more support will follow. Even if it is in Houston.

Better yet, here’s their corporate address.

    Wingstop Restaurants, Inc.
1101 East Arapaho Road, Suite 150
    Richardson, Texas 75081-2329
    (972) 686-6500
    Fax: (972) 686-6502

I happen to know the owner of this Plano franchise and he doesn’t even follow soccer.

I don't have an issue when businesses sponsor rival teams.

My issue is when those sponsors start paying the fines that those rival teams' coaches and players rightfully earned.

why? because it didnt happen to FCD? Count me in the group that says this is cool. in a country where we struggle to get support, you should be happy someone even cares this much, about any club.

Bullcrap. They're our rivals and this league will not grow up until the fans grow up and stop applauding good things that happen to our rivals.

Why should I patronize a business that pays an rival coach's fine when he acts like an asshat?

Our rivals based on what? location? the fact that the front offices decided to make it one? if you are going to criticize the league for not growing up and it's fans, how about taking up for the fact that the league is trying to create rivalries instead of allowing them to come about. I am happy the inferno take this whole thing so seriously, but to say that every fan should follow everything you guys proclaim and if you dont your not a fan is a joke.

You guys need to go to Pluckers. I know that it's not close to the stadium, but they serve the best wings in town.
