Have we begun to figure out the situation for carpooling? I don't think that Meinert6's car should be put through the trek mainly because a trek to jersey has ample time for it to find a wandering tire. :p

Tell me we have more than 5 people driving down for this match?? I'd imagine a bus for the 4th is definitely out...depressing.

Has anyone bought this ticket offer yet?

Anyone know the parking/stadium details? lots open? what's allowed inside etc??

From where I stand, I believe the answer to those four questions is no.

Are you guys planning to stay down there, or drive down and back on the same day? I've thought about going, but the trip back would get in late. There are hotel deals nearby according to the Breakers' e-mail, but Monday is a work day.

Still not sure of the "how" in terms of getting there, but I too will be back after the match as I have work at 7am the next morning.

I emailed Sky Blue and here is the result -
Can you give me information on the Stadium policy at Yurcak Field ? Especially regarding the following:

    Time the lot opens
Tailgating (Barbeque?, Quick shades, Beer, Wine)
    What is allowed inside...

    Thank You,
    --------------------------------------------

Thank you for reaching out to us concerning the game on Sunday. For parking, our parking lot opens at 3pm and tailgating is allowed. It is $5 to park. We only ask to be respectful to clean up your space before heading into the stadium.

Did you print your ticket or something??

I don't see an option for that...Just $5 for shipping.

I'd just assume wait and pay the $19 at the gate than $21 online...

Smith's goal was a complete gift from Branam. Kia was given a very nice ball in as she beat the offside trap (far side d kept her on) and made a nice shot.

Kai just blasted it off the post as NJ tries to equalize.

Btw, the two blues would confuse me--I keep thinking UNC-Duke. But even there, someone has the white jersey.

May as well make this the in-game thread, too.

    1-1 after 20 minutes.

Alex Scott playing on the left allowed Kai to remain onside early on. Mitts, on the right, waved her hand in the air before giving chase. :(

13th minute Scott redeemed herself with an overlap to chase a ball all the way to the goal line. Scott's weak cross deflected off Branham and Smith collected the garbage. :)

White w/ the goal. Again, defensive miscommunication for the Breakers.
