http://www.esto.com.mx/050725/futbol/9futbol.asp something interesting.... down at the bottom of the article, Borgetti talks about goal productivity.. i think that is the difference between playing with an important club in in Europe and playing in Mexico... he said that they are not asking him to score 20 goals. He said he asked and that they told him most players score 10 goals and that as a goal, he has to put 10 goals as a minimum... i remember hearing about Hugo going to Atl Madrid. At a press conference, they asked Hugo what he wanted to do with the club and that he gave the common mexican cliches about helping out the club, putting his grain of salt, and bla bla bla... a reporter then interrupts him and says... you were brought in to score goals, how many goals are you going to score? Hugo later commented years later that really changed his way of thinking... i love the fact that those type of clubs tell those player... you have to score X amount of goals.... I love objective and goals and I like setting the bar higher... I think its great that Borgetti will be exposed to that type of mentality... rather than just saying.."yeah I just want to help out the club"
hi guys! a bolton fan here. borgetti has already signed his brand new contract! and the british press are all excited and going mad(in a nice way) about him being the first mexican to play in the English Premier league. He is well thought of in England. We know all about his pedigree. He has been on the tv already. and he's signed a long contract. Our manager(sam) is thought to be one of the best managers in the uk.and he is very rarely wrong when he signs a player. you can be comforted to know that sam and his scouts have been watching him for ages. Go......Mexico.....to ........bolton yes!
Borgetti is a goal scorer and should do well in with Bolton. Not to add the majority of Mexican fans will respond graciously towards the signing of one of their players. Especially from a team of high quality like Bolton. Besides that Sam will be making the team millions in merchandise sold to mexicans.
You can find it at www.subsidesports.com, if they don't have it already with Jared's name and number, you can add it on to the jersey. Their new stuff is usually pricey, but well worth it(at least for me). I'll probably get it next week

Does anyone know if Pachuca received a transfer fee or was this a free transfer??? I looked on both English & Spanish sites. The main thing in both was the fact that Borgetti is the first Mexican playing in England. Adios Tuzo
