Carlos Bianchi has confirmed that Juan Román Riquelme will start tomorrow against Unión.

In addition, forward Sebastián Palacios will make his official debut for the team, as Bianchi looks for alternatives up front. He will be paired with Santiago Silva. Boca will likely play a 4-3-1-2 with Cristian Erbes as the DM.

    Likely formation (4-3-1-2)

Is Palacios one of the youth starting?

The return of the maestro. And yet another inclusion in the lineup? Is Bianchi trying to break the record for most starters used in one campaign? I bet he's close already.
This being at home, gotta find a way to secure the 3 points. Just get it done, Boca.

Well, not only he is a new coach who's trying to find his team, but between "el recambio" for the two tournaments and the fact that most players have been playing poorly, it's understandable that there are going to be lots of different lineups. Hopefully he'll find the right eleven soon, there's something to be said for stability.

2-0 Union. I really don't understand why we are so bad.

Awful first half. Can't really remember their keeper having a save to make. Silva shouldn't be on the pitch.

It says something when the best performance so far for Boca comes from a man who hasn't played for months. We are carrying far too many players who either aren't good enough or haven't got their heads screwed on right.

Considering the rust, Roman looks pretty good and getting better. On the other hand I cannot remember a Boca defensive unit that was this awful.

You guys look like a different team in the second half. Riquelme, who was a ghost in the first half, is a lot more active and actually making a difference.

    Damn, Roman had it.

Boca is playing better on offense now, I hope it is not too little too late.

Might be the first time in my life that I've seen someone at the match with a yarmulke on. At an Atlanta match for sure but in La Boca?

In one respect it makes sense if you are going to be whipping in balls from the outside but in that sense why take out one of the few players that has actually been somewhat effective on the wing?
