After a 3-3 draw in the opening leg, Boca needs to win the return leg, or get a draw while scoring four or more goals, in order to advance.

The ref is that hijo de p... Pitana, so look for a non-existent penalty or an unmerited red card against Boca.

Nice first half. I wouldn't say a well played game by any means, but plenty of excitement and some good scoring chances for both teams. Burdisso had a goal disallowed for offside, in a very tight play but it looked like the correct call on the replays. Still 0-0, Boca needs a win.

Red card for Tuzzio, well deserved. Lets see if Boca can take advantage. Already Acosta is making a difference.

Just got home at the stroke of halftime. Good to see Acosta paying dividends already. Boca does have a recent history of not being able to take advantage of a man advantage though, which is so counter-intuitive. Let's hope for a more decisive Viatri and Silva to put away their chances.

Now Boca is playing better, but not able to take advantage of the chances yet.

The team is playing with fire giving away all these dead ball opportunities.

Why is Boca playing like they're not eliminated at the moment? They're playing like a team in an even position, too afraid to make a mistake.

How did Somoza miss that? They are running out of chances.

We'll never get rid of Chavez will we? Ledesma, Somoza, Clemente are all out of form, but still start every game. Silva-Viatri doesn't work, but still start every game. Our genius DT didn't want to play with an enganche when he had one of the best one of all time at his disposal but now seems obsessed with Chavez.

We'll probably come close to winning the local tournament, but that's because the level of the other teams is mediocre and we have the biggest group of players in Argentina. But for the rest...
