Last time we visited them for a league game we scraped out a 1-0 win. We'll see if Guille had enough time to imprint something on the team this time.

Under the cosh a fair bit so far. Struggling to get any sort of attack going. Get the feeling River's pressure is going to pay off at some point, either that or we catch them on the break.

Can't hold on to the damn ball and the few opportunities we had in their end we just piss away. Then in our end the defense just stands around and reacts too slowly. Maybe a regroup at halftime can help.

Last stream is screwing around. This one seems to work.

We got a littel better near the end, but not much. Tevez is trying to beat River on his own at times maybe just needs to take a breath and look to see the bigger picture a bit more in terms of playing people in etc.

Another 0-0 game. Sheesh. River blew a golden chance to win while we wasted every set piece.

XI de Boca confirmado vs Unión: Orion; Jara, Tobio, Insaurralde y Silva; Bentancur, Gago, Lodeiro; Palacios, Tevez, Carrizo.

I guess El Mellizo is high on Betancur. I hope the yoruga responds, he does have loads of talent.

Not much in the way of protection in that midfield.

Yes, a very offensive minded team. Probably because it's Union.

How are these guys not ready at the start of games? Impossible to play when you're already down just coming out of the locker room.

I've no idea. The set up of the side looks off though.

That was painful to watch. Right now either Lanus is really amazing or Boca is a disaster. I'm pretty sure it's the latter. The Mellizos better fix it fast, if we want to be a factor in Libertadores.

Boca returns to action after international break, hopefully refreshed and better prepared.

Last year we beat them 1-0. Still no Osvaldo as he got injured again in practice.

After a shaky first 20 mins or so Boca take the lead off a nice pass from Perez to Tevez off a turnover and a nice long distance shot to send it over the keeper and into the back of the net. Looks like we're smelling blood in the water now and attacking much better.

Watching live, I thought Carrizo put that ball over the bar for a sec. Tevez has been relentless. I hope that's a sign for the rest of this miserable year.

And WTF was Rafaela doing that half? I haven't seen so many attackers running free behind a defense in a while.

Boca winning 2-0 and creating chances. What a golazo by Carlitos! Great pass from Pablo.

Orion saves a penalty and Lodeiro makes it 3-0. Strong game, they could be up much more with better finishing. Lots of fun playing this way, granted, against a weak opponent.
