They've never actually given away an LD bobblehead. I few year ago you could get one if you bought a ticket package but the only two they have given away on a game are Agoos and Dayak.

I would say something here but I'm trying to be politically correct towards our front office.

Afraid they may move the decimal on the paycheck to the left?

    Thnk marketing...

After the US Army seat cushion give-away and toss, I would have figured promotions would have a "Q" bobblehead.

Spartacus would have fun announcing to the crowd not to toss those.

I would believe, though nothing as of yet, that on September 25 the Landon bobblehead will be of a different style and make. Anyone who has the Freddy Adu bobbleheads will see that the giveaway DC United had and the ones for sale are 2 different items.

Still, there's too much Landon items to go around. DeRo, Mulrooney, and Onstad would be worthy of soccer "pop" culture status joining LD, Joe Cannon, Agoos, and Dayak. Cheers!

DeRo in bobblehead form would be fantastic! I'd go with the full-bouncing 'fro DeRo over the tied-down look or cornrows.

The Landon bobblehead from the US National team is really cool.

There is the 2004 Landon Donovan MLS Cup bobblehead. You can find those at the concession stands, or the usual ebay search.

Interesting you ask this because when I showed him the latest edition, he didn't know he had one. I would think the company would send him boxes of his bobblehead.

Thanks Nap! I'll have to check the concession stands at the next home game. :)

That is indeed strange. Is that the case with all athletes who get bobbleheads made after them, or do only MLS players get the less-preferential treatment?

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

No problem. They go for $20 at the stadium, maybe $25 including ship depending on ebay bid.

It was an interestion comment when he signed his newest bobblehead, the retail MLS Cup version, during the Shake with the Quakes event. In an online article Heather Mitts told that when she had hers given away, the company gave her a case of her bobbles gratis.

Ditto for The Joe, unless I hear different.

    Everything else, taking offline. Cheers!

Throughout this season, the Quakes should pass out bobbleheads of the founding members of Soccer Silicon Valley.
