Except for the plaster Agoos bobblehead... or was is that bobblehad (along with Jefferey's long hair) a throwback to the 60s?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I've also noticed that the giant heads on the Cannon and Donovan bobbleheads bobble better than the giant head on the Agoos bobblehead does.       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
There are a few of those Jeff Agoos bootleg bobbleheads floating around Spartan, though Turcs have been trying to get them in his hands so that none of them would show up anywhere. Supposedly someone had a Stern John/Cobi Jones bobble and turned him into an Original Gangsta! and, buy Joe Cannon bobbles. Only 1000 exist! The Jeff Agoos bobbles look like a crock of ************. Joe looks much better. Landon is rather spooky. Anyone willing to paint Landon's bobble dyed hair dark? Cheers!
Will the next Joe Cannon bobblehead have him holding two MLS Cup trophies?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Sell out the whole series and then talk to Turcs. It gets just as expensive as collecting soccer cards.
Talking to Turcs gets that expensive?!?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Collecting bobbleheads on ebay and the like gets expensive. It gets ridiculous when of all people, Siri Mullinix's bobblehead gets bid for close to $100. Brad Friedel for that amount? Yes. Siri Mullinix? No. Though, it was great the price for that bobblehead got jacked up because I'm hoping it gets sold for $30. If and when the Joe series gets sold out, then we'll talk about another edition. Or, you G can spend that amount to talk to Turcs.
Sorry to say... Unless we get our fellow fans to help us promote the Joe Cannon bobble, there won't be another from Club Quake. It costs way too much up front, and the team has really left us little opportunity to sell them (no PA announcements, no stadium sales, no samples at the Quakes office, no fliers distributed, etc.). To those of you that have purchased them: if you like what you've seen, tell your friends and encourage them to pick one up from our web site, California Custom, or (coming soon) the Britannia Arms of Almaden and Downtown. Help us continue our tradition of cool Quakes collectibles... Mike
Will there be any bobbleheads passed out to the attendance of today's SJ-LA match? Or any other type of prizes, for that matter?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Landon t-shirts to the first 10K. Speaking of bobbleheads, I can't wait 'til Tuesday (playoff-eve). The Sharks have their annual season ticket holder practice session, and the perk is free Mike Ricci bobbleheads!!!
Didn't renew for the Sharks... fudge... ------ It's enough that the bobblehead craze has become addicting. I'm still fuming that a lot of them could go for as high as $100 (especially a measley Siri Muselix bobblehead).
And any new Quakes bobbleheads next season will have the new uniform on them as well.       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
So will the the 2001-2002 Quakes uniformed bobbleheads be worth even more then?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I can't back up these figures for this but there are a lot of Landon Donovan Quakes bobbles on the market so it's sold for a reasonable price. The Single Giveaways (SGAs) are more popular--Jeff Agoos on the market has fetched $40. On average, the Eddie Pope bobbles that have been out have gone for $80 to $90. The reasonable ones have gone for about $45, which I find as a reasonable price. It's only a matter of time in which the SGA fetches over $100 because the demand is there. Of course, a bidder goes high only to see the price slashed, you get what you bid for. I'm hoping they get someone good for a giveaway next year, and they make it available to everyone... (just make it look like the Man U 3rd kit and you're set!) Cheers!
With his recent callup to the Nats, will there soon be Eddie Robinson bobbleheads?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Lalas and DMB will get their bobblehead before ER gets his... besides, I'd rather see Jimmy Conrad and Troy Dayak get theirs... I'll bet you that bobblehead nights in San Jose will spike the attendance considerably (and much to the chagrin the collectors will be out in full force...)
There is finally a dark haired Landon available. I believe when they did actually give them away they were dark haired? Anyone know on this. The blonde one I have is not numbered. It was one of the first Bobble Dreams ones and was not numbered. The dark haired one I got is being sold as the one that was given away. And it is numbered. Anyone know what the real deal is with these. Don't want to believe everything I see on ebay. When they did the SGA, was it the dark haired one that was used?
It was blond from what I recall... I didn't notice the dark hair version until just a couple of weeks ago... My blond Landon Quakes one is numbered--some got the sticker, the others didn't--World Cup hype and I'm already under the impression the market is already flooded with the retails... I wouldn't be too worried about the dark haired one since it's merely similar to the blond hair version. However, if either head were delved into a white jersey version then I would go after those... supposedly there are several offshoot bobbleheads that have more prime value due to their rarity in number and distinction (at least the Mathis AT&T bobble--same as the retail but with the label, and a couple of Oakland Athletics have alternate versions that are harder to find and in demand...) If there is a Landon blonde with a white shirt, or a Landon dark with a white shirt I'd go after those... Cheers!
