only three players are left for Boavista from last year's team, Jaime Pacheco again doing a good job

CARLOS (3). Quando foi preciso, travou remate de McPhee. Muito popular entre os Panteras Negras.

HÉLDER ROSÁRIO (3). Parecia Paulo Ferreira a subir pelo flanco direito. Secou Kingsley e ainda atacou...

CADÚ (3). Estava a secundar Cafú no primeiro golo. No segundo tempo acalmou.

    MARTELINHO (2). Experiência a reter a bola.

FLORES (1). Uma falta e pouco mais.

I highly comment them for getting this far, as they are the "little brother" club in the city. Them winning at the "big brother" place was probably their biggest win in their history, even more than their one title. Yet, the question should then be if they win another league and no one sees them, did they still win? ;)

I think Boavista is going to be amongst the big 3 fighting for the 3 CL spots.

Boavista is in 1st place, and I don't think Joao V. Pinto has been much of a factor for them. Does he have anything left? Maybe he would be more useful coming in around the 70th minute or so.

Big Deal, wait until the end of the jornada and see if they are still in frist. I have to congratulate Pacheco, he really knows how to get the best out of his players

But for how long? Sporting has a chance to be co-leader by the end of the day and Benfica (if all goes well) can be the leader by the end of the weekend. FCP doesn't play this weekend because of the Toyota Cup so they'll have a game in hand that they'll play at Maritimo on the 22nd. That's not going to be an easy game no Funchal. I can't remember ever seeing such a close race at the top at Christmas time.

I would expect some lackluster play from Porto, because of the travel and partying. Luckily they don't travel to Madeira until next week.

Boavista, will probably fade since they just don't have the depth, but hopefully they can finish ahead of Benfica and Porto.:D

    Sorry guys;)
