For its subscribers (not that they'll necessarily check), Bloomberg is offering free round-trip transportation, food, and tickets to the Sept. 12th game. You would have to listen to what is probably an annoying presentation about Bloomberg's Launchpad feature, but what the hey. Could be a good way to get some "marginal" fans to try out going to a game, and hopefully put a few fannies in the seats. Just wanted everyone to be aware. Note: I do not work for Bloomberg, but I am a subscriber.
When you say subscriber do you mean a mailing list, the tv station, or the Bloomberg financial terminals?
Yeah, I am doing the same thing... Its the Launchpad feature they want you to try out. What the hey. Paul
You have to be a subscriber to the Bloomberg financial terminal service I belive. It come up on the terminal (at the botom of the screen) before you log in (among a few other seminars). This I think lasts a few hours as they say busses will leave from Bloomberg at 3:00pm, and then you'll be in a seminar until the match begins. The Launchpad is a neat feature if you are a Bloomberg subscriber though. note: I am a Bloomberg employee, but not in terminal sales. And I'm not involved in this promotion and don't have any more info than what subscribers to the terminal have.
Is there a specific COMMAND for the info on this? I'll tell some friends. BTW, for any finance professionals and soccer fans reading: I am moving to NYC in two weeks seeking a career start in investment research/management. Just graduated from college, passed CFA Level I if any of you fellow soccer fanatics might be able to lend some advice or contacts. Thanks - Kevin
'to brigado Mafia. I appreciate the welcome. Tips for you: don't wear blue at the stadium, there's no foxes out there, bring your own. - Kevin
