Not a bad first half, lets hold on for 3... Given has had some very good saves so far..

Not doing as well as they could (save Barry), I agree, but fullback play has definitely caused quite a bit of trouble for us. I can count at least three times Bridge let in unnecessary balls into the box.

    You kidding?

Very impressed with Ade atm. Making some very, very good runs into the box after setting up play. Could of had himself another goal.

Barry is a supporters dream. Absolutely love him.

It is only the defence where we're really lacking, we're fearsome going forward.

Toure has been excellent though and besides that bad pass, Micah has also looked better - possibly due to Toure. Dunne still isn't good enough anymore, despite that one good tackle. It isn't just a new defender or two we need, its more cohesion and positioning awareness.

the streams have been frustrating today.. I was also watching the ozzy channel that got switched to FULLHOUSE! hahahah.

I need to figure out how to easily record these streams so I don't have to wake up so damn early on the weekends.

It was before the end of the half though. Still 4 or 5 mins plus stoppage.

Ade has been very good indeed. Robinho has been pretty quiet thus far; hopefully he will come to life in the second half. If Tevez is healthy (uncertain right now) I would like to see him on for Bellamy. Tevez, Ade, Robinho, and SWP has the potential to tear apart what has been a suspect Rovers back four.

Anyone notice Ireland seems to be a bit slow today? He is still distributing fairly well, but he seems to be running about half speed.

Boy I should really have set my alarm clock for opening weekend:D Missed the first half, happy to see we're off on the right foot. Not surprised that the defense is still a bit of a concern, though.

no no, don't get me wrong.

I think he is playing really good, his movement is good and his goal was good too.

Its just the moments where he seems to click off, and not give a F*ck which i WON'T miss.

His ability and potential remain the same though. You've got a player who COULD be great! But its up to Him. Time will show which adebayor you guys got.

Intresting... Tevez was initially going to come on for Bellamy and then Hughes changesd it to Robinho.

I admire Bellamy's desire, but he had plenty of space to take that down and make a proper shot on goal. We are threatening much more effectively than the mid 45 though, so I am not unhappy.
