    Raphael is rested.

Apart from that it's almost our strongest team in the perfect formation. Take out Witsel for Dahoud and this is our first 11. This is the team we have been crying out for. We just need Dahoud to link play, better but finally Favre has almost seen sense. It's so close.

Sancho off the bar. We concede from a corner.

    Embarrassing - let’s go!

Poor goal to concede from the corner.

Passlack and Meunier have had slow starts.

The other problem is that our centrali midfield cannot link play.
We are being shut off from going through the middle and have to go out wide, where Meunier and Passlack are struggling. Witsel is having the usual Witsel game and we are going long too often.

Bringing either Rapahel for Passlack or Dahoud for Witsel will fix things.

As for Burki he has never ever really been good enough.

Meunier out injured. We have to risk more. Maybe Dahoud for the midfield and Hazard as a more offensive minded FB/wingback.

And another stupid goal after a corner. So bad.

We will never do anything with Favre.

I cannot believe he kept Meunier and Witsel on for so long. He made no changes and now we are 2-0 down.

There's no maybe about it. Just incredibly stupid for Favre.

Witsel should never ever be in a Dortmund shirt again

What the hell is wrong with Favre. He can see our midfield is not working. We are not getting the ball to our attacking players and he is doing nothing. We need to score three goals.

Brandt was poor today and rightfully should have come off, but Witsel stays on.

That’s how use lose any hope of a title. Losing to Cologne at home.

I don’t like coaching changes but it’s time.

The reason we struggled so much in this match was not just a lack of intensity is because we couldn't pass the ball through the midfield. We were forced to go wide, but without Raphael we lacked the technique there too.

Witsel is a killer. He kills the team, because he stops us being able to pass the ball to our attacking players.

Brandt had a very poor game as did Meunier to boot.

Sancho was poor, but he had to come deep and try to beat 5 men, because we could not get the ball into our attacking players.

    Shocking loss.

It was time a long long time ago.

Hasenhüttl, Farke, Rose, Marsh or Nagelsmann. Or even try Poch.

No matter what get him out and one of those guys in.

It's unbelievable he was so stupid he could not see the problem. Our attacking players rarely got the ball in the final third. We were passing the ball across the back or hitting it long all match. Our midfielders that can make a forward pass ie Bellingham and Dahoud sat on the bench.

    Just sack him.

We got outplayed by a team that didn't have a single win until today. 2 corners and 2 goals is ridiculous but still, they didn't have a single win after 8 games.

Haaland misses a last minute equalizer. Team's just not playing as good as they could. I don't know how many balls Sancho lost with the same move. I can't fault him for his workrate though. In the end, we played with Sancho and Hazard as our FBs but we missed someone who could create or make the game fast in midfield the whole match.
Can is another player who is working his ass of over the whole field. I don't know whether that is by design or it's because what he sees isn't working. This team could be really good if it could work as a unit and we weren't so weak defending dead ball situations.

Well these were the firs two corner kick goals conceded by us this season so one would say that it isn't an issue but it has been an issue the past few seasons running.

No intensity from Dortmund all game long. Meunier has been atrocious all season long. How many stinkers like today does Favre need to see before he benches him? I would much rather see Morey play than him at this point. Brandt has also been terrible this whole season just like Meunier.

Basically it would be good if we sacked the manager.

We never really caused them any trouble all game and its because of the fraud in the centre. But he will the fraud will have a high pass completion rate and some naive people will claim he was not the problem.

Sancho lost the ball a lot, but he had to beat 3 men, because he was so deep. Even current (not prime) Messi would struggle slightly in that situation.

Favre is a mid table manager and we should have upgraded a long time ago.

Dahoud must play every game, because he is the only one who can link play quickly. Bellingham is a bit too raw and Raphael can too.

Favre also lacks the balls to tell certain so called leaders the truth.

Meunier actually has had a couple of good games, but he has mostly been poor. He needs a sustained period on the bench. Morey deserves his chance. It goes back to what I was saying about no meritocracy.

Brandt cannot play on the wing. He needs to play midfield, but all our attacking players were crippled because they were starves off possession in decent areas. However Brandt deserves a spell on the bench too.

Witsel is plain crap. Incredibly crap. Have some balls and kick him out of the squad. But again no meritocracy.

Against Lazio play Dahoud and Bellingham.

Agreed with what y'all are saying. I think today was one of those days where most of the team was missing. No energy from the players. Or when there is energy it's not being used smartly.

Favre will never make the right adjustment during the game. And this game shows how dangerous it is to "rely" on the second half to score.

Favre made weird changes! He emptied the midfield and left just Witsel there, put Sancho on the wing, and had 4 players up front, practically waiting for the ball to reach them. Even if you say that Reus and Reyna were helping with the build-up, I honestly don't think that build-up is their main strength. So completely messed up the response to being 2 goals down. And it's not the first time he takes this approach.

I don't know what he has against Dahoud, and against playing Brandt in the center where he is best. He has these dogmatic views for or against certain players and a dogmatic view for how we should play boring slow football.

Add to that some bad luck, and you lose 3 must-win points. Very bad.

we are not even 1/3 of the season and we already had way too many of "these days", its not an excuse, its on the coach if he cant motivate or solve this some other way
