Dude....I'm optimist that everything is gonna turn that way. But before saying that lets make sure the moves happen...

"Let's play against a mid-table fourth-division team to prepare ourselves for the match against Manchester United that's two weeks away!"

    That makes sense.

Confirmed, barring any injuries...it will be Valencia v. Benitez and Espinoza on Matchday 1.

I'm in NYC, we should definitely get a watching party on.

he came out publicly and said that wasn't the case. although for PR purposes, they'll usually lie through their teeth. lets see if espinoza can prove anything on the pitch.

Birmingham's coach probably doesn't like Espinoza coming there....I just have a feeling. I won't be too surprised if I see la Sombra benched when the season begins...although I really hope I'm wrong.

Can you blame him? A 32 year old unproven PL player that probably does not speak english?? It's like Chala going to the Saints just because of El Tin, for f*ck's sake!

    Re: Birmingham City F.C. (R)

agreed, although espinoza has been a stalwart of 2 ecuadorian WC teams. he is a big physical defender who could stand to have at least 2-3 good years in england (compare him to someone like hurtado who is a different type of defender and probably wouldnt have done well in england, even though he is arguably the better of the 2).

but youre right, i doubt espinoza sees action on the first game of the year with a new club. maybe later in the year if injuries hit the club

Espinoza Signing is something they usually do in England because its hard to adapt, they get a good player and then a cheap one from the same country to keep him company.
Kinda like when Southampton got Chala to keep Delgado company.

I Doubt we will see much of Espinoza in the premiership, physically he has become ultra slow.

Hmm thats interesting, I guess it would make sense. But do you think this would hurt the NT? With Espinoza possibly riding bench? Its been har enough finding a replacement...

    Re: Birmingham City F.C. (R)

i was thinking the exact same thing for all the previous posts. but no, i dont think it can make the NT worse because he'll have quality training partners at birmingham, and he'll likely play the first rounds of the cup, so he'll be sort of sharp. if anything, he'll maintain his level from barcelona imo. but we'll see, we might be in for a pleasant surprise.
