With OBL's religious convictions, his strong family values, his prediliction for pre-emptive military action, his love of low taxes, etc... this guy has patterned himself on Karl Rove's permanent majority model. If he'd shave the beard Rove could probably boost his 'favorables' by about 30 points.
He certainly would be the proto Republican candidate. Religious, male, tough on taxes, doesn't appease foriegners, comes from a rich politically connected family. They are going to have to deal with that "native born" requirement, but this guy definitely makes Rudy look like a **********.

There still is the issue of whether this video is genuine bin Laden. It was produced by someone claiming to be al-Qeada, but the beard thing is weird and there also is the issue of whether the video "freezes" when bin Laden is discussing recent events. Also, the newest video discusses one of the 9/11 hijackers. As everyone knows the TRUTH is that Bush did the attack, that proves the video is a fake and was produced by Karl Rove

Dear Friends, I don't know how many of you, dear friends, have already made up your mind about converting but my guess is that Bin Ladin is inviting you to his brand of Islam which is called Wahabi/Salafi. It's a very small sect within the Sunni sect mostly practiced in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, some in Pakistan and also small numbers scattered in North Africa and Europe within the last couple decades. So, please be informed about some of the details. In my humble opinion, I think most average Americans are at heart Shia moslems by their inner thirst for Justice and equality.
