I would like to know if the system curbs the number of alerts? if not then I second the motion. @bungadiri
We should have a 'night theme', where you can change this currently white and light-grey layout to black and dark-grey, which is so much easier on the eyes at night. Especially if you're one of those who tend to scroll on their phones in bed. Reddit and Section Eighty both have this option and I love it. Day Theme: Night Theme: Also, in other forums (such as KanyeToThe or Section Eighty) if a moderator is posting in a section they are not in charge of, then they will be simply listed as regulars and not as staff members. I'm a moderator of the El Salvador section so I obviously will be listed as "Staff Member" when I post there, but when I post in a another section that I don't have power in (i.e Australia, BSMX or USA sections) I would like to be just plain old "Member". Thoughts?
Someone besides Dan Looney writing articles. I gave up reading his stream of consciousness BS years ago. What happened to the other writers? Did they get tired of getting crowded off the front page by Looney's too-frequent and useless droppings?
Could Africa thread (actually, could new one be created with competitions only) be taken up to Soccer Cups section? It would be nice to have it's competitions thread up there with rest of continents.
iOS finally has a dark mode, and BigSoccer still doesn’t smh. I use the site on my iPhone so it sucks that I still can’t use emojis
When was it sold? Before the migration to this "new" BBS platform? And is Andy part if the old or new ownership team?
2015. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/thank-you-huss.2024156/ Andy and Janet are part of the new team.
Is there a way to turn signatures on in mobile view? If I put my device into desktop mode, I can see them.
I wonder if people even remember that the list of "My Watched Forums" was, at one point, in the same order as the forums.
Honestly I’m happy with no functional changes as long as they just keep the lights on. And reboot the server occasionally.
There's no BSSC. There's no shop. There's no CafePress. Ad revenue has got to be way down from what it was 20 years ago. How the heck is the site being funded?
IDK but how much could it cost? No new development... just a few bucks a month to AWS? Volunteer staff???
can we get upgraded servers to the wish list or else it will only be a matter of time for this site to kick the can.
1 - Before or after twitter? 2 - This is been said for at least 5 years, probably longer. (But I agree, new/upgraded servers as well as an improved/updated interface would be nice.)
