How do you go from a newbie to a member to whatever comes next?
Just post. A lot. That is what my problem is. I just don't post very often. Look at when I registered. Been here for a long time, but don't usually have the time to post.
is there a certain number i need to reach to not be a newbie?
Anyone have a number of posts before becoming a member? Maybe more realistic than 5000
It might be somewhere like 100, but am not positive. You'll find out eventually.
Watch out from Mike, he's a quick one.
25 makes you Jr. Member
75 or 100 makes you a Member
only 4 more to go!! (3 more now)
we no longer have jr. members so this has changed
now that i'm a member, do i get any new options?
You were always a member, the title just indicates that you were a new member.
For more options, upgrade to Premium.
How many posts does it take to become a BS "Vet"?
We have 94 out of 21,000 members, and we've been around or many years. So... a lot.
(For those interested, Scotty and pething101 are the members closest to achieving this exalted status. Just a few to go)
Our aristocracy lables have shrunk. Thanks Huss
Maybe Huss should add in a length of membership requirement in order to reach Vet status.
Brian Cappellieri managed to reach 4000 posts in 3 or 4 months, right?
IMHO, there's no way that someone who's been on the the boards just a few months has earned the title "Vet" -- something like "Obsessive Poster" would be more appropriate.
"Needs Counseling" or "Housebound" maybe.
Sweet mother of Jesus!
I did not know this. Good to know I will become a vet sometime soon.
It's not 4,000. Sorry.
The Wanderer has 4984 posts and is a BigSoccer Vet.
Own Goal Hat-Trick has 4984 posts and is a BigSoccer Member.
The answer isn't as simple as some expect.
Was looking forward to coming home from school and practice and knocking out some posts and getting a new status.
"loser with no life" would be better.
I miss my old title - Big Soccer Addict.
There also used to be Freak, and Super Freak.
It was Supa Freaky. Yeow!
