Sssssssimon Davies with the equalizer. Gets on the end of a nice cross.

    Goal!!!!!!!!

You can see that goal as an example to what McBride brings to Fulham... on that play, it looked like reo coker looked back to make sure McBride was covered on the cross in and as he was looking back, Davies was able to make that run. So while BMB wasn't necessarily involved in the goal, he sure did a little bit on reputation alone.

For a half second I thought that was McBride. What a first touch that would have proven!

It's amazing. The commentators on the midweek game thought Dempsey was horrible, and yet the ones today keep saying nice things about him.

Villa put up some more pressure, Dempsey gives up a deep FK... cleared, ensuing corner cleared.

Dempsey about to come off for Kamara, but first he earns another good FK off of Bouma. Nice FK, gets to the ground, but Hangelund makes a ham of it and the ball rolls harmlessly to Carson.

End-to-end now... Carew brings the ball down in the Fulham box but his shot isn't too troubling.

    Nearly 80.

Demsey off for Kamara in the 80 minute. Hopefully, Kamara has brought some of that Senegal form back from Africa, where he scored three times for his country.

He's been very good today, but I bet this has to do with mid-week in Houston more than anything.

They didn't say anything remotely like he was "horrible". The color announcer just commented a few times that he lacked pace, while complimenting other aspects of his game. And he did lack pace. What's been nice about this game is he had much more bounce than midweek.

If Hodgson thought that leaving Dempsey on would give him a better chance for 3 points, then he has to do it, international break aside. Fulham can't afford to pass up opportunities.

Dempsey looked gassed as he was coming off. I thought he played well today. He looked to be Fulham's most creative player.

Konchesky and Hughes are making it pretty easy for the boss to keep Bocanegra on the side today.
