I got a curse for ya, right here ! A Metro supporter comes home from work early and catches his wife in bed with another man. "Hey ! What the hell are you two doing" ? he hollers. "See," the wife says to the other man. "I told you he was stupid" ! Cheers, "Red"
Re: I got a curse for ya, right here ! Oh c'mon everyone knows this isn't true. I mean, to be married, he first needs to get a date. And we've all seen the Mutts fans...
Re: I got a curse for ya, right here ! Jokes about Mutts fans and their "wives" (like Monty said they have to get dates first) Cheers me up some after that disaster last night, the next thing that will cheer me up is lifting the Cup up in LA on 11/23.
uh....this coming from a fan of a team that has won nothing....and has never even made it to an mls cup final? here's to the revs taking the 2 matches...dc taking their 2...leaving the mutts and fire to beat each other senseless in the first round.
If there is anyone out there in the ether who has enough of a statistical bent to figure out if anywhere, in the history of soccer, any top level Div I teams have ever faced one another four times in a row in four league and cup (i.e. meaningful) matches? I doubt it. For the Revs brain trust, and the Metros too, this must present a tactical set of dilemmas that could verge on the whacko. Given the nature of soccer and soccer players this is bound to make RedSox/Yankees look like a friendly series as far as physicality goes. Protect Cancela! JIM DOW
I think the gals and the quakes are doing that right now also. In the past few years, with playoffs frequently going 3 games, it must have happened at least once.
