Let me clarify, Donovan has talent and skills that are above the majority of American born players. Donovan can have all the talent/skills in the world but if he doesn't use them to his fullest potential then there are other players in our youth ranks that can and will be considered our best young talent. This argument could go on forever really but as a final thought we have players in the youth ranks that have different skill sets and talents and that is why not all of them play striker or attacking mid-fielder and also that is why some of them have the potential to be better than Donovan. I don't know why I put so much effort into this agrument because really we are a few years away from seeing what all the u-23 and under talent are really going to develop into.
