I'll be in Vegas this coming weekend. Is there a good place to watch the games in Vegas other than a sports book?
i'm going to bump this, since I'm going to vegas in a few weeks. and i couldn't care less if its a sports book - just want to know where I can watch.
EPL in Vegas Get yourself on the 'Bigshot' on top of the Stratosphere tower !! LOL !! When it reaches the top, look to your left and you should be able to see all Premiership games at the same time due to it being not far from heaven !! LOL !!
The last time I was in Vegas (my friends bachelor party 10/2001) we were looking for a place to have some breakfest and watch the U.S. vs Jamaica World Cup qualifier. I heard about this place so we went. Inside there were about 200 Chicago Bears fans watching the Bears game. I ask the barmaid if she could change one of the tvs to the U.S. game. She said "Not unless you and your friends will eat/drink more than them". I ask her if I can speak to the manager. Guy comes over and says the bar is the official home of the Las Vegas chapter of the Bears supporters club and that's all they will show if the Bears are playing. We get up and leave and go to another place. It was all for naught because the telecast was pre-empted because it was the start of the military campaign in Afghanistan. Back in 97 we went to a British pub in the seedier section of Vegas that was much cooler. My friend was wearing a Liverpool jersey and the bartender says "First round free for Liverpool supporters". Made our day I forget the name of the place. The sign outside had a picture of a Bull dog.
How weak is that!!! Do they only have two TV's in the place? Plus, I just don't have any respect for a "soccer" bar in the US that won't show the national team (nor do they list MLS on their schedule). Get the manager of the Gingers Ale House out there!!
It's unlikely that any NFL games will be on at 7:00am on a Saturday though. I've been to the Crown and Anchor and it's an OK place. I'm glad it's not my "home pub" though. It's fun to write stuff on the chalkboard in the men's loo as well. Too bad that you can't remember the name of the other place though, as I'd like to check it out the next time I'm in Sin City.
no offence but you guys are losers I bet none of you have ever been to an premier league match before. I guess non of you will ever experience the atmosphere in a premier league stadium during a match as I do every second weekend ciao
You're an effing twat! I've seen matches in England, Scotland, Spain, Mexico and of course U.S.A. Go troll somewhere else!
