Tried one of those today GoodSport... and you really ought to try the Chick-Fil-A Chocolate shake instead.
Why not both? What did you think of the new Wendy's Frosty Shake? As for Chick-Fil-A, it seems that the nearest one to me is in Fairfield, which is about halfway between the Bay Area and Sacramento. Next time I'm there, I'll definitely give it a try. -G
sonic makes a pretty decent shake, and with them being only 99 cents right now, it's hard to argue going anywhere else.
I've had the opportunity to do some research on this topic in the past week, and I've carefully weighed the following factors: The continuing inability of McDonald's to what Burger King (and, seemingly everyone else) figured out long, long ago: The ability not to mix shake flavors from shake to shake. There's nothing more annoying than ordering a shake in one flavor and having a shake in another flavor. Value -- or more precisely, being able to order a large shake at Burger King for less than I can order a medium shake at McDonald's. And last, but most certainly not least, the wholesome dairy goodness of the shakes involved. With all that in mind, I've come up with a formula that best expresses the relationship between the quality and value of Burger King shakes versus McDonald's milkshakes. That formula is expressed as follows: Burger King shakes : McDonald's shakes :: United States : Barbados Thank you and have a good night. Don't forget tomorrow morning's seminar and panel discussion on "Other Fun Things You Can Do While On A Road Trip To Find A Shake That's Not In Your Area." Please join us now for the open ice cream bar and french fry social in the main ballroom. Thank you!
This is a tough one. I recall having a great milkshake at a Steak-n-Shake in Indianapolis a few years ago. Can't think of any more memorable ones.
Bad news: Jack In The Box recently stopped selling its great Kona Coffee shake. Good news: Jack In The Box is now selling its seasonal Egg Nog and Pumpkin Pie shakes. -G
I got two yesterday. Even though milkshakes are €1 on the Eurosaver, shamrock shakes are €2.20. Bastards!!
The McDonald's Shamrock Shake has made its way back (at least in my area) for the first time since 2008! Needless to say, I just had one. Incidentally, Jack in the Box currently has a Mint Oreo Cookie Milkshake, so don't forget to have at least one of those as well by St. Patrick's Day. -G
I thought an authentic Irish shake was just when you were so drunk you fumbled your porter glass around a bit before reaching your mouth.
Just had my annual Pumpkin Pie milkshake at Jack in the Box yesterday. I'll have my annual Egg Nog milkshake at Jack in the Box sometime soon as the Holiday Season approaches. -G
Why drink a milkshake without alcohol when you can have one with alcohol? So my answer to thread question is, I have no friggin' clue.
