Because I'm right and you're wrong. If no one tells you when you're wrong how will you ever know you're wrong? You'd die thinking little kids start playing football to get laid.
See what? That you're wrong? I saw that immediately, and pointed it out for you so that you'll learn and grow and become more knowledgable. And by the way you debate like a child.
Thanks. At last someone in BS concedes is way older than me. Besides aren't chidren known for their irrespondible arguing? ... PS: Started getting grumpy, huh? ...
Getting back to topic. Fans are the soul of any sport. That's why they are so important for the game of soccer. Without their incentive & their generally wise pressure on the players & even on the coach they many times decide games. (Exaggerate pressure might prove nocive too). So the best fans are the ones that are able to combine insane noise in the right moments & reason. They have to have - and (way more than many managers) they often do have - know-how of football. Quantity is very important but not essential: a smart although small group of rooters can make a lot of damage. PS: You can play a sport 'alone' too. But - frankly - the sensation that something is missing is inevitable. The rest is onanism.
Barca is a good example that numbers mean nothing. How embarrassing it must be for the club and the players when Chelsea visit and everyone knows there's 100 times more 'support' at The Library.
The topic was already settled. Eastern Europeans and South Americans. More importantly, did you start playing football when you were 3 years old to get laid?
Heck no, I did not start playing futbol untill I was 4 . I did however finger paint for the ladies, sometimes using paint, yuck, lol.
I'd throw in Rapid Vienna btw. Considered by many in Germany to have a truely amazing and passionate following, notwithstanding lack of succes in Europe.
I remember a couple years ago someone tried to convince me that Liverpool supporters were the most boisterous...I said, "Really? Please...the supporters of Boca can out-sing and out-chant them ANY day!"
LOL at everyone that are not mentioning Ex Yugoslavia teams/fans such as Torcida (Hajduk Split), BBB (Dinamo Zagreb), Delije (Red Star) and Grobari (Partizan Bg).
You better be careful or some Fullham guy comes at you with some evidence that there was 134dcb at a game against Stoke in 1922.
I don't know if I would choose Celtic or Liverpool, but both sides' supporters are really amazing, even when their team is playing really badly... The environments in those clubs' stadiums too are awesome, i'd love to play or watch a game there someday.
In the case of both clubs, that's a long-standing misconception. Get yourself along to CP these days and you'll be lucky if it's 1/3 full.
