Who are the best dribblers of the ball today?

DENILSON for me. He can literally take on 4 guys at once, get fouled, and still get by them (Semifinal WC 2002 against Turkey). The thing is, that's all he can do.

Cristiano Ronaldo is showing some great skill.

    Ronaldinho is amazing.

    Who else?

Pires? Rivaldo? Kily? Rui Costa? Figo sometimes...

I havent' seen a picture of Denilson yesterday. But if Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho are 2 of the best, maybe having bad hair helps!

John Barnes was good(solo goal against Brazil, in Brazil that Maradonna wishes he could have scored) but currently in the EPL, as much as I hate to say it, it's got to be Giggs.

    Okocha?

ROFL, talk about not knowing anything about a player...

He's extremely skilful with lots of little tricks and flicks, flair and superb ball control but a dribbler he ain't. He hasn't got the pace or accelleration to run with the ball for long enough for it to be considered a 'dribble'. He gets caught in posession time and time again because he's just not fast enough to get away from defenders.

Well see Prenn we have different ideas of what a dribble is. I fancy players with close control more than those who go past players with pace or acceleration. For example I like:

    Zidane
    Del Piero
    Rui Costa
    Aimar
    Ronaldinho
    Gil
    Alex (Cruzeiro)
    David Dunn (he's pretty good)

As opposed to say Giggs or Henry or Sheva
But, we agree Okocha is shite.
