I have to vote for the mullet and mustache that Thon used to sport with Bayern. Classic 70's porn-star look worn well into the 80's and early 90's. But judging by the Reuter's look at the same time, they all seemed to be going to the same insane barber...

At least Jancker and Breitner's were somewhat appropriate for their era.

    But nothing beats this guy...

One last thought, WTF was with Jeremies look when he first came in...was there a sale on motor oil in 1998?

Sorry, I have wasted too much time on this.

This thread is giving me nightmares.

Effenberg - I almost forgot how ridiculous he once looked. People should just not follow "fashion", they will be embarrassed 10-15 years later.

That is Sepp Weiss. Played in the mid-70s. For that era, it is not too atrocious.

Glad you enjoyed...I know this is off the Bayern map, however the Freund photo is priceless. This looks like some bad ad for a trailer park and RV shop somewhere in rural america circa 1980's. Each time his publicist books him for a gig, this picture should be used...[IMG]

    LMFAO!!! That is vintage!
The same man who won a CLS Championship in 2001 and was band from National Team for Flipping off German fans in WC2004 started it all with a beauty of a mullet... the "mulle-dyke" as we like to say in these hear parts. Nice. Are we sure this isn't my grade school PE teacher? I swear that's her.

Dude... I love Alain Sutter... wasn't he like a one year wonder in Munich or was it longer than that. Guy was silky, like a blonde Littbarski. I guess that is why I like Scholl... he reminds me of these types of players (old-schoolish in a way).
