I know this Thursday 25.11.2004 @ 00.00 hours/12.00 midnight, is Thanksgiving Thursday, but I am honestly placing a poll by saying:
Besides the traditional Thanksgiving Turkey, what else are you going to add to the dinner lineup?

    • 02 Crab Cakes
    • 03 Codfish Cakes
    • 04 Two-Pound Lobster Tails
    • 05 Whole Fried Crab
    • 06 Louisiana Boiled Crawfish
    • 07 Turducken (A turkey stuffed with a duck which is stuffed with a chicken)
    • 08 Gatorade (Subsitute for the Apple Juice)
    • 09 Any Others?
    • 10 None of these listed
    • 11 All of these listed

    Gack! Crab cakes, codfish, blecch!

My dad's family is in Minnesota, and one of the things he brought with him when he (countless thanks) moved to California was the tradition of wild rice on Thanksgiving. I love that stuff. Nowadays, I think we grow more wild rice in California than they do up there in the frozen tundra.

I've never had a single thing on that list at Thanksgiving. Not saying it's wrong, but it'd never occur to me to have those thing on Turkey Day.
