    Zahovic sub by Fyssas

it looked like Trap was going to take out Karadas, but the fans boo and he change his mind, Zahovic for Fyssas

Amoreirinha with another important play, to save danger from the Benfica area

Oh no another phantom penalty call. Are the refs blind or what. Still Benfica probably deserve to win, but they shouldn't have to resort to these antics.

Thank God it wasn't a Portuguese or Brazilian player, or we would have to listen to England66 coment on diving in the Superliga again.:D

Injuries, suspensions, we lost two more players today. Luisao got hurt and Fernandes got a red, so he's off next game. You know there's something wrong when your winger is your top scorer and he has double the goals that your striker does. WE NEED A REAL STRIKER! Karadas just doesn't do it, he misses way too many chances. We got lucky to get 3 points and the team's performances seem to be getting worse by the week.

Look on the bright side, all this and they are still tied for the top position.

Karadas is trying to beat some record every single game he does something like that, today he was fantastic if this was in the olympics he would receive 10.0 from all the judges.
After saying this Estoril deserved at least the draw, Moreira was probably one of the best players on another note obviously Luis Filipe Vieira taped this game also and is going to join the images to make a new dvd.

I agree. Benfica have some quality, with the likes of Simao, Manuel Fernandes, Petit, Luisao, Miguel, Rocha, and Moreira. There's also many question marks, in respect to the strikers (Nuno Gomes?, Karadas?, Sokota?, and Montorras? especially), their wingers (Carlitos?), their midfield (Zahovic), and their left-lateral backs. Benfica should go after Postiga (not sure if Porto will pawn him off to a rival), Ricardo Sousa (he's not fitting in Hamburg), and maybe an inform Superliga player - Ze Maria, Antchouet, or Jorginho.

Moriera was Benfica"s best player today. Beacuse of him we are in 1st place. On a side note Moriera"s back up was Yannick. Quim is now the 3rd goalie on Benfica. How can we possible justify him being on the National team. Only in Portugal.

Karadas was one of the best players on the field, remember he was all alone, Benfica played most of the game with 10 players

ex Benfica and Portuguese international Carlos Manuel,

    TRÊS PERGUNTAS A...
    Carlos Manuel*: «Assim o Benfica terá dificuldades»

A equipa entrou nervosa.

Simao and Simao and more Simao, everybody else is one step behind
, People are wonder if LFV will take a Video of the game to the government after the referee missed the penalty call
    A ABRIR

I had forgotten about this game being on this afternoon and just saw the result posted here in the forums. Thanks guys.

But, Argel? This guy just always finds a spot in the lineup. Either Luisao is suspended, Rocha is hurt, or Rocha is suspended like today. And, now, Luisao is hurt and Argel again finds a spot in the lineup most likely next week. He has been the cause of many of Benfica's goals. He reminds me of herpes. Just when you think you got rid of them, they keep showing up at inopportune times. They just won't go away.

I can't believe this team is tied for first place.

I was at school, so I was only able to follow parts of the game online and caught the last 10 minutes on the radio in the car on the drive home. I don't know if Benfica played well or not, but the important thing is that Benfica earned 3 points. Hopefully Luisao's injury isn't serious and he can play next weekend.
