what's happen to the Benfica fans? they expect another low crowd at home for the game with Estoril, it looks like Benfica just draw away from home

The attendance at home for Benfica is disturbing. Such a great stadium and the fans fail to come out and support. I'm sorry guys, but other leagues also have great television coverage in their countries, yet they still draw great crowds. I don't go with the TV excuse fellas.

I can understand the fans not going to the stadium. Who would want to watch them play if they pull another performance like in the Leiria game? It's good to support the team in good and bad times, but a lot of people don't want to spend their hard earned cash to watch a disaster. I wouldn't want to pay to watch that either. Forca Benfica!

Benfica is playing Estoril on an 8.30 Monday night start time. Estoril.

It looked like there were a lot of empty seats at the Porto-Beira Mar game from what I was watching. Why isn't that a sell out?

I don't get why fans don't go to the games either. I just got back from Lisbon yesterday, and I was fortunate enough to watch the Sporting Moreirense, and the Sporting vs Sochaux games. Was very weird that Sporting was able to bring in more people for the Moreirense game than the Uefa match vs sochaux. Players were even asking on tv for fans to come out and support, and only 20,000 or so showed up. It was a Holiday too on top of it.

I actualy think, 20,000 for a mid week game that is also televised is pretty good. I know Sochaux currently sit in 3rd place in the French League but they are a pretty unkown club.

I wasn't targeting Benfica fans, but was making a comment on Superliga attendance in general, but since you bring it up, Porto has averaged the highest attendance per game this season.

If you are taking the average for all games I am not sure, for Home games only the leader is Sporting.

Luisao gets hurt and is replaced by Amoreirinha. It's just going from bad to worse.

the referee missed the called, shouldn't be a penalty,
    Karadas full the referee,

SIMAO scored, second of the game, 10th of the season, goal #50 goal with Benfica, #12 goal with Sporting Jersey = 62

    Benfica-2-Estoril -1

I am still @ work, following the game over the net. From what I read it seems that the penalty was a bad call. I don't like to win like that, but at leat we have to admit it. It just not nice to complain when we lose
