Welcome to the FIFA worldwide soccer family East Timor and Comoros Islands ! Comoros will play in CAF while Timor Leste will be in the AFC. East Timor competed in the Tiger Cup in December, 2004. They did not win a game in their group, but by and large, they were competitive with their ASEAN neighbors. Good luck to both in the run up to WC 2010.
Great to have another Portuguese speaking nation join Fifa. Hopefully they'll grow and do well in Asia like how Angola is doing in Africa.
