A few of the teams I have played with are teams that have beers or brewers as their primary shirt sponsor. (Hibernian-Carlsberg, Leeds-Strongbow, Spurs-Holsten) Yet, on FIFA 2002 all of those teams go sponsorless on their unis. Obviously, Arsenal did as well, because GC, and PS2 didn't want a Dreamcast ad in the middle of their games. But, does anyone know why these beer sponsored shirts aren't allowed on the game?? Would that constitute a bump up in the games rating or something??
They don't display those sponsors becuase the game is marketed towards kids.... the same go's for Nascar games...Rusty Wallace never has his Miller sponsor on any game...same for Dale Jr.... the games would be rated mature or not released at all if they had beer and cigarette sponsors.
