Let's continue the beer talk here.................... My top 5 beers as of 7/11/07 1. Samuel Adams Boston Ale (not Lager) 2. Paulaner- Hefe-Weizen 3. Spaten- Oktoberfest 4. Super Bock 5. Blue Moon A special shout out to Sagres-Bohemia. Nothing like having one of these at a cafe in the old part of Viseu and Coimbra. I would like to organize a little gathering of beer and soccer. Im thinking September for one of the big games. I'll keep you all posted. Tri-state area and vicinity.

My Favorites in No Particular Order Super-Bock Becks Heineken-hate to be a bit cliche with this one Carlsberg I've only had once as I've not seen a lot of places that have it, but it's very good as well Amstel sucks...
like all from above too and specially any German beer. Amstel Light was good but in the last couple of years I noticed the flavor isn't there any more. I love the Amstel (not the Light type) that I have every time I go to Aruba. I think it's brewed there and it's VERY VERY good!
I'm starting to see alot more of Carlsberg specially in Newark and in DRAFT. It's very good also, comparable w/ the one in Portugal.

Summer Ale and Pizza........Nothing like it. This one is surelly in my top 5. Have anyone of you tried the Paulaner I mentioned? They are hard to find, but if you can find it. Wow get yourself a really tall glass. Grill some sausages and your taste buds will go wild.
nice, I like the same ones as you. When I was in Madeira they have their own Beer called "Coral", I was surprised when I tried it , it is good.
not a big fan of dark Beer but if that's all that's available, I'll drink it. For those that know Newark well, who do you think has the best beer on Tap? My personal favorite is the Heineken from Marisqueira.
Rogue "Dead Guy" Ale out of Oregon is excellent. Fat Tire Ale...Sierra Nevada Summerfest...I remember drinking a beer iyears ago n the Azores called Europa that I can't find. Does this ring any bells?
it does, for some reason I think Sagres was involved in some way w/ Europa... anyway, I forgot about one of my favorites (happens to be Spanish): Estrella Galicia!
