    2017-18 Griezmann was in EL because they couldn't beat Qarabag in either legs of CL group stage. One game against 10 men too at home. He was only elite in 2015-16 where he made the difference against Barca and Bayern in CL. Also in Euros though chocked in both finals(missed penalty vs RM).

    No way. How can you compare a peak Griezmann to peak Hazard? It's not close if you ask me.

    Hazard won EPL player of the year, I could never see Griezmann doing that...

    Bale won EPL player of the year two consecutive times, and Hazard basically won it after Bale joined Real Madrid and left the League. And you still consider him average and hate his guts so how is that award supposed to frame Hazard as an elite player?

    I don't hate Bale's guts, I have grown to dislike him over the years due to his performances.

    Bale at one point was a very good player. The version of Bale in his last year at Tottenham is a much superior player to Griezmann.

    Besides the award Bale has nothing to do with this conversation. At their peak both statistically and with what you watch with your eyes who are you taking Hazard or Griezmann? For me it's an easy decision.

    Griezmann 2015/16 season is better than any Hazard season

    And even now with both players disappointing at their new clubs, Griezmann is better

    I think Hazard is definitely a better player than Griezmann.

    I think neither one is a tier above the other. Griezmann is probably the better pure scorer, Hazard the better overall creator. I think they are both just a level under the absolute best of the best.

    Last season was one of the seasons Griezman had the least goals.

    I think he meant Griezmann winning player of the year in England.

    Griezmann certainly has more crucial minute 90 penalty attempts though, that's for sure.
