I agree. Seeing the team this season was the most depressing thing one could do on the weekend. Zero passion. Zero spark. Absolutely dreadful.

Going by the rumors, we might end up signing:
Militao - Jovic - Hazard - Mendy - Eriksen (plus Rodrygo).

I still think we need more dynamic force in our midfield. I seriously doubt that Eriksen is the answer to that need. Pogba is the closest to what is needed (meaning he has the quality) but he needs to lose a lot of his ego, and start playing with much more maturity if we are to really benefit from him. Lo Celso? maybe the most cost effective solution. If it was between Eriksen and Lo Celso, I would pick Lo Celso with my eyes closed.

Equally important is the RW position. Without addressing this position, Hazard will be focused on and will probably be marked out of most big games. And I don't see Asensio (meh) or Rodrygo (still too green) as the answer to that position. We need someone like Sancho or even Pepe .. someone who can cause trouble all the time.

The most classic and memorable ones usually are. Hence the "shit title" meme.

    So thanks.

Super excited for this one. I seriously believe many people underrate Hazard, he's truly one of the best players in the world. Real Madrid needed him and he (really) needed Real Madrid. Let's not forget, for the first time in a very long time, we'll have a player that is a dribbling master (I'm not talking Vinicius who's more about speed) and has the pace to actually finish these dribbles (not like Isco). A player that actually knows when to move and when to stop in a split second, a bit like Messi. He'll be an absolute joy to watch. A true Galactico, how long has it been guys?

If Vinicius’s dribbling was mostly about speed he wouldn’t be so prolific at dribbling in tight spaces as he does, he is more reliant on skills than pace, he in fact uses more trickery than both Hazard and Messi who are as amazing as they are because of their close control, Bale in his prime is an example of pace dribbler, I agree with the rest of your post though:D

I hope this won’t jinx it, but something we are really going to appreciate about Eden, as opposed to Bale or Neymar, is his availability.

He gets fouled more than anyone else in the premier league and yet in the last 2 seasons, he has only missed 12 days to injury.

He’s had 1 extensive injury but it was during a summer. The rest of his injury history is very minor.

Dunno about Bale, but a player lifestyle plays a big role.

Neymar doesn't drink but parties a lot. Messi was always injured when he was eating pizzas. Look at Dembele at Barca. Etc.

Hazard is said to have a near perfect lifestyle, and no surprise, he doesn't get much injured.

Yeah, sure. I was just trying to make clear that Hazard - due to his decision-making, first touch and close control - is a masterful dribbler. Vinicius is a bit different in that his first touch and close control are not on that level (yet?). Bale just kicks and runs haha.

Quick one Madridistas between Neymar or Hazard who do you reckon is superior. Had a debate with my friend.

Also seeing as your midfield options on the bench are Llorente, Kovacic and Ceballos who are all rumoured to be on the way out - where does that leave Valverde. I like him from the glimpses I've seen and thinks he deserves more GT.

Hazard right now because Neymar is made of glass..
In a hypothetical scenario where Neymar can play every game at his best I take Neymar over Hazard any day but that is not gonna happen.

Valverde will grow with us and become a better player .
