I'm so sore, went skiing all day. Woke up at five, drove a couple hours, then skied 'till about 4. My arse is throbbing. So much for a saturday "day off". Can't wait for the Milan Derby tomorrow, though.
Skiing, so that's what they call it these days, huh? In all seriousness, skiing is great cross-training because you work all sorts of wonky muscles while doing it.
I wish I could go skiing or snowboarding.. despite being Canadian and living there for 8 years, I have never gone.
Once I get my car next winter I'm hitting the slopes for the first time! So many places to go snow boarding in PA,Up State NY, Vermont & NH
Yeah, it's great to live in the Northeast as a skier/snowboarder, so many great mountains to choose from! It definitely is quite an exercise though. You hurt in places you didn't even know could hurt haha!
Not going well for Skizz at the moment people. 1) We lost to my old team for the second time this month. 3-2 was the score at the beginning of February and I had a late goal that would have made it 3-3 from 3-0 down after 75 mins disallowed for no reason. It was 2-0 yesterday and my team were shite. On top of that we've not won this year and it's pissing me off. 2) I have NO IDEA what to get my girlfriend for her 21st. Any ideas? (Helpful ones only please!!!) 3) I haven't had a new pair of boots for ages!!! Lol
I saw some fat twat wearing the pink Vapors on Sunday...he was crappp! His team are in our league so he's gonna get cruuuuunched!!
And I ask ye all, how highly do you value your imagination? In a football forum, of a sport that often uses visualisation power, I believe this is a relevant question. I have always been one to use visualisation, bit recently, I have been training my mind to obtain the most of my imagination, and I believe that I am reaping the benefits. This year, my marks and performance at varsity have drastically improved, all through mindpower. I can concentrate and actually enjoy lectures, as well as work for hours, just by telling my brain that the subject is not boring...the the seeming boredom is just something that I have picked up over the years as a reaction. Essentially, it is a strong case of mind over matter. I have been telling my fellow students this trick, but they believe it will not work. Today however, I used my imagination to such an extent, that I wonder if it is 'unnatural'. I was looking at the metal frame structure of a hall, and thought, 'hey, those horizontal beams on the walls look like traintracks,' and then I was able to actually visualise a train choo-chooing about the hall's walls! And I then went on to see monkeys swinging along the metal crossbeam jungle. Anyhow, who here is interested in using such techniques?
One thing I can always rely on Kaitster for, is to completely, without any acknowledgement, shift the topic of conversation onto one of unfussy modish commotion...and I love it! And so, on that topic...I fully agree with Dellci. Undoubtedly. But then I must add that I realised that unless my mates are over, I never play FIFA. I essentially purchase it for them. No longer shall I buy it.
