It's designed to match the colors on the new MLS logo. For what it's worth--it's very pretty. Notice the US Star and Canadian Maple Leaf outlined on the ball. Nice touch. Part of me, however, will miss the interplay the green and blue used to have on the old MLS balls.
I looks good for sure. I hope MLS got rid of the stupid silver ball for the champs. I always hated it. It looked like at $10 ball from Target.
And they take up sooooo much space. It's like, "Where am I going to put THIS memento of utter victory? And THIS one?" It's a hard-knock life.
It was tough for us to sustain another loss, but at least the second the game ending whistle blew the Galaxy was not the same Galaxy and won't be next year. It's pretty clear to me that the Rev's aren't going to change much, only to improve somewhat.
Don't forget the white spaces intentionally left blank to bring you in and out of the MLS ball world.
