    I'm fixing to buy the new kit and wanted to make sure what his number is going to be. 7? or 17?

    With Eddie Lewis in camp he's #17 - Eddie has seniority and selects #7

    For the upcoming World Cup you can be assured DMB will wear #17

    but if you're looking longterm, he'll be on the team for many years without Eddie Lewis and then he'll be 7 fulltime. but for the cup he's 17 and landon is 21.

    Scotty, buy the current shirt with Beasley's CURRENT number. When the new shirts come out next time around, you mostly likely will not want to be wearing an *old* shirt, right? :D

    Then you can buy the new one with Beasley's new number ... if he's still your favorite player then...

    I got #7, it's on the gold chain DMB rocks so its good enough for me.
