Ok, time to pick ourselves backup. Great run by @And_ROOS, but sadly all good things end.

    Location: Allianz Arena
    Time: 2000GMT/1500EDT/1200 PDT/ 5 AM Kangaroo Time?
    TV: Paramount+, maybe CBS?

Thanks mebe. If nobody had stepped up I would've. And I was thinking similarly about the old pick-yourself-up-dust-yourself-off cliche. In fact, here are the 2 songs that came into my mind. Rather different eras and musicians so you pick your poison...

Looks like City/Madrid is the game that was picked up for both CBS and Univision.

If this were a group stage game in October, I'd give us a good chance of getting the win.

Fatigue and the way we crumble under pressure is going to make this a pretty routine result for Bayern.

Liverpool's season ended from Thur-Sun. We will end ours Sun-Wed. City will win back-to-back trebles.

I also see them getting a treble.

Wow, the pre-match buzz around this thread is palpable.

Actually I'm probably a bit representative of that. Given what happened in the last 2 matches, my expectations have been lowered.

But was that just a brief mini-slump or something more troublesome?

Player fitness/availability is going to be a huge factor, e.g. Ode, Tomi, White, Saka. I bet if we see any/most of those guys they sadly won't be very close to 100%

Nevertheless, the bookies seem to have this match pretty even. Even at Munich. Go figure.

Will be interesting to see the pace of the game. The Barca v. PSG match yesterday was so fast, I couldn't believe some of the lung busting runs guys were making in the 95th minute!

Watching, I was thinking "I don't think I've ever seen Ben White or Zinchenko run that fast!"

Yup. And praying Tomi is really fit. There was a lot of speculation that he wasn't for the last 2 matches, which is why he didn't make the XI's. IDK, but I do know that Tomi is a true defender and that makes me happy to see him used over Zinny for example.

I also wonder if Ode & Saka are walking wounded. And White?? I guess we'll see... an hour or two from now.

    COYG!!!!

Best lineup we could field. No tinkering or overthinking. All on the players now.

What's it gonna take to get Timber on the bench?

Arteta said Timber (might) needs an U21 match first.

That Bayern left is set to smother Saka and White...
I'd love to throw a curve ball and start Saka on the left for the first 15mins and have him attack the touchline

Thoughts on their right? Is Martinelli licking his chops?

De Ligt and Goretkza looked slow or flat footed in the first match. Does Sane track back well?
