Bayern has lost the first ever Munich derby in the Alianz Arena 1-0 thanks to a goal by Agostino. Munich's line-up for the match was decidedly different from what we are used to seeing with only 2~3 first team regulars getting a run out. Hopefully losing the first derby in the new stadium will not be a bad omen for the future.

Congrats to 1860. And check out the new "7's" on the back of our jerseys:

Out of those 14, I know 8. Who are Ottl, Buck, Steinhöfer, Müller, Jungwirth and Ortiz? And why did they even play that match when those seem to be the players they have left with everybody else in their national teams?

They are reserve / youth players. The only one that I know is Andreas Ottl who is an U-20 Intl. with some caps and is rated pretty highly. Perhaps some others that get to see the Bayern reserves can enlighten us about the others who played today...

Most of them are from Bayern's Amateur team which plays Regionalliga Süd (3rd division). Check this link for the line-up of their last match:

Congrats to TSV, this should boost their morale a little bit after just missing out on promotion.

P.S. don't worry there will be plenty of losses for them against us in this new beautiful stadium

There were also players from the A-Junioren-Team of FC Bayern.

Yeah.. I'm feeling ok :) I'll give em' a little something nice, since those Blue Ba$tards could not get promoted this year.

Ortiz is Bolivian, and I would very much like to hear any opinions on his potential.

Way to stick the knife in 1860, then move the dull rusty blade around in 'em.
    Good times.

Bayern youth coach Hermann Gerland thinks that Steinhöfer is one of the biggest talents he has right now.
