When you choose a "quick match" are the stats of participants taken into account when teams are formed? I'm getting exceedingly frustrated at coming up against teams that are half made up of players who are going 25/5 (k/d). I'm sure players as equally sucky as myself would enjoy getting placed into groups where they aren't going to be target practice for some 14 year old who splits his daily time between masturbation and BF4.

It's a mess at the minute due to all the new players. I was in a run of games where my squad consisted of the four highest ranked players and everyone else on both teams, combined, barely reached half of my rank. By contrast I was also in a game where the majority of my team were no ranks. It's pot luck at the minute and no doubt will be for the duration of the holiday period. If you are a good player, playing in a decent squad or a vehicle user it is currently like shooting fish in a barrel and your K/D will reflect that.

You are 100% correct about the pot luck. Last night I pretty much had to rage quit after being on the wrong end of several 40 to 100 Death Match games. Today though, from the first game on I was destroying people. I don't think I lost a Conquest the entire night.

I have been loving this on the PS4 with the bigger player count. I still may buy a map pack or two for ghosts but the more I go deeper into this game the harder it is to enjoy COD at all.

Finally playing some China Rising I understand what you mean. Last weekend I played on the desert map on China Rising and that thing is freaking huge but at 64 players and all the tanks battling on the map it was perfect.

All of Feb. will be player appreciation month

Second Assault DLC arrives next Tuesday, February 18th.

    http://blogs.battlefield.com/2014/02/bf4-second-assault-on-feb18/

Four maps from BF3 - Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm - are being rebuilt to take advantage of the Frostbite 3 engine.

The third DLC - Naval Strike - will be released in late March.

Maybe this will get me back to the game.

Next BF4 DLC - Dragon's Teeth - is rumored to be bringing in a very popular Counter-Strike gameplay element.
