With all of the recent baseball coverage, I've been thinking back on some of the great baseball cameo's in TV history. My three favorites are:
    1. Mr. Ed trying out for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ed sliding into home trying to beat a throw to the plate and Wilbur yelling "Slide, Ed, slide!" is one of the funniest things i've ever seen.
    2. Herman Munster trying out for the L.A. Dodgers- too many laughs to transcribe here...
    3. Don Drysdale visiting Greg Brady. Yeah, Mike Brady's gunna get Don Drysdale to come to their house...

Does anyone know of any other good baseball cameo's or themes on classic TV?

Probably not "classic", but Mickey Mantle (along with Kool Moe Dee!) in Paul Simon's video for "Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard".
