Red card to Barcelona's Clement Lenglet in the 35th minute. At first it looked like a foul from Girona's Pere Pons, but the VAR image confirmed an elbow (advertent or not) by Lenglet. Barca coach not happy after the game.

    Thoughts?

Absolutely no reason to throw the elbow up during the tackle the way the defender does there.

Pere Pons - Foul - Careless challenge
Lenglet - RED - Violent Conduct. (I'll accept SFP, but the elbow had nothing to do with the play on the ball)

But Sergio Busquets says his teammate made a "natural movement"!

(Check the photo of Gil Manzano showing with his own body.)

I will say that the graphics package is very well done there by La Liga for VAR.

Well, in Busquets defense, cheating and attempting to injure opponents ARE natural for him. It's what he does.
