Jeison Dominguez is a left back. Doesn't play in Penilla's position.

Some sites claim that we are getting a new signing for Noche Amarilla in Quito, if this is true, any ideas on who it might be?

I'm not sure on how the negotiations ended with Cristian Aleman but I doubt that's the surprise if there is any.
It would have to an Ecuadorian player coming back, now wisdom would say to bring a left winger, someone to alternate with Castillo and Suarez, if I was a gambling man I would say it's Kevin Mercado, Godoy Cruz does not want him back, his loan to Sarmiento wasn't succesful, I think there is one more year before Granada's contract ends so I'd say we might get him cheap.

Fernando Guerrero is another option, he was listed as tranferible in the last Mexican Draft, no one picked him so we might be able to steal him for a loan, Leones Negros would be happy to loan him and give him exposure.

Carlos Garces? I hope he's not it but I hear he's back in Ecuador.

Fernando Guerrero, Jonathan Gonzalez, Kevin Mercado, and Marcos Caicedo are all accessible players to get right now. Juan Anangono was another one and Liga snatched him. I think Daniel Angulo was a stupid signing for us. Might as well have waited and signed Anangono and brought back Mercado or tried to get Caicedo on loan. So blown we let Edson Puch go, that little guy was beast and always put 150% into every game.

Not a fan of Guerrero to be honest. His best bet is returning to IDV later when he has a chance to get playing time, but I think they wouldn't be that interested. They have young players finding more success in their squad now compared to him.

Surprised Carlos Garces hasn't been picked up by a first division team. He was the top goal scorer a year ago of the Liga de Ascenso and he's basically Atlante's most valuable player. He's had a successful run in the second divison so far. I think he' 26 years old now. Not a bad signing if you ask me. He's more mature now. Was never amazing, but I'd like to see him back in first division out of curiosity.

They are a better team right now, Calderon really screwed our free kicks and make no mistake, Jose Angulo is the real thing.

Both Angulos in my opinion, Julio Angulo killed Pineida on the left flank and Pineida isnt a slow player.
Alvez always leaves me a sour taste,

It's impressive how despite the CA break Jose Angulo is still a goal scoring machine. Hasn't been out of sync one bit. IDV needs to raise his price tag from 7 million to freaking $10-12 million. Miller Bolanos left for less than $10 mil after all he did- winning two campeonatos, being the top goal scorer of two Copa Sudamericanas back to back, being one of the top goal scorer of Copa Lib., being the top goal scorer of the campeonato, finding success on the NT. I think what kicked his ass was his bad "history". You guys know what I'm talking about. (Liga and BSC days)

But for someone like Angulo who is VERY young with a clean history and finding the success he is- $10 million at least. That kid is a gem. Last time we had a REAL #9 like this was Agustin Delgado. That's all I have to say. I've not seen one since. Add to the fact that he's 21 and having a run like this....BANK. #9's don't usually find the net so consistently until around age 24. Only the best ones do it this young. Be smart Deller....don't get played.
