Second part of La Liga beins with Alaves as first team to beat. With absence of Etoo, Deco, Motta and Xavi Rijkaard called all the players available for this match.
    Full squad for Alaves game:
Valdés, Belletti, Márquez, Puyol, Larsson, Giuly, Ronaldinho, Maxi, Gio, Ezquerro, Edmílson, Sylvinho, Van Bommel, Gabri, Messi, Oleguer, Iniesta and Jorquera

I guess its Larrson who will start a match today and I hpe he scores. I cant imagine that Alaves would play anthing else by total bunker. We all know that Larsson is an area player and we should use this.

Anthing else by victory would be a huge disappointment but who knows, we only draw in our first tie. Still I believe in Barca and confortable win, hope we score soon!

I'd like to see Larsson get a goal more than anyone. He needs it.

in the 6th minute Ronaldinho performed an absolutely beautiful step over move, sent the defender completely in the wrong direction :)

19th minute, Valdez gathers trhe ball on the edge of the 19, ref cards him, replay shows the ball was on the line, and no foul or card should have been called...

free kick goes off the bar...whew!

    40th minute, and still 0-0

this looks like one of those games where the minnow comes out, plays inspired football for as long as they can, abut cannot keep that level up for 90 minutes and somewhere in the 55-60th minute the better team shines through with a goal

The trick is to make sure we keep it 0-0 so they don't completely buker for the tie

OH MY GOD!!! I'm so sorry guys! I forgot to put on my lucky shirt before the game began. I've been wearing the same one during every game since the beginning of the streak. If we don't win, I may never forgive myself.

nice pass by Giuly, the alaves keeper dove for it and by all accounts should have gathered it, it slipped under his grasp and larsson sort of knocked it in off of his shin/knee...not pretty, but it counts

nice move by ronaldinho. i still cant believe that missed PK. better he miss them here than in the world cup. haha.

poor alaves keeper. he's had a great game.
