for government interference in FA affairs. They were doing well for awhile too what with hosting the Caribbean Cup finals.
In CONCACAF-speak, doesn't that mean that the Barbados government tried to stop corruption in the local FA?
foxsoccerchannel.com said it was a disputed FA President election that was taken to local courts, so maybe corruption, maybe not. Who knows, it's not like there's a huge independent media in Barbados. Saw that the current president of the FA (that sides with FIFA) stopped ALL soccer activity, from the local premier league to a U-15 team taking part in a sort of Caribbean Cup. Nice to see that politics trump sport in the islands like they do everywhere else.
