Bakers thread

    I don't do a lot of baking, esp. since my fiance works at an artisan bakery and gets free bread and pastries every day...but I baked a few batches of great cupcakes for her birthday party tommorow...those of you with the Joy of Cooking, it's the Black Bottom cupcakes.

    choc. cupcakes with a center of cream cheese and choc. chips. I frosted with a ganache of giredehli semisweet chips and heavy cream. Awesome. Incidently, the giredeli baking cocoa is pretty damn good.

    I hope to brush up on my baking skills in the next few weeks as I'm umencumbered by work.
