Anyone know who the backup to Jon Conway is?

It might be Santa Clara U. keeper Steve Cronin. I believe he trained with the Quakes in pre-season, and he was just named the to the All-Tournament Team of the U-20 tournament in Spain as starter for the U.S. team.

    Cronin is still in college.

They will bring in an A-League keeper and probably won't tell us.

The Quakes would only be able to get Cronin in the SuperDraft or in a Draft Lottery (of which we wouldn't have very good odds) if he signs with MLS.

But he would be a great guy to get.

It's Jon Lowery of the Minnesota Thunder.
