The materials used were pretty good. The diamond pattern (I forget the name, but I'm sure someone can help me out with that) is actually woven into the fabric as it is with the real shirt. However, it's only when you inspect other things like the material under the arm that you will notice the bigger differences.

That's a really bad fake, I can tell you that. Fake jerseys have gotten even better--not to say that they're better, but they're actually looking a lot closer to the real thing. If you bought off of Chinese sights "aliexpress, or gogoalshop" recently, it'd be harder to look for differences. The counterfeit jersey business is a lot different now than it was in '07. I could tell a fake Torres jersey from a real one.

If you haven't noticed it yet, the bag may look fake too (the printing style in the age-old adidas logo looks slightly different) but that may just be me.

I have also a Barcelona David Villa #7 jersey from '09-10. The jersey was not originally for me, it was for a friend. It could quite possibly be the worst fake I've ever bought. Everything fell off on the first wash. It has a few long pulls, which occurred as a result of stretching it. The "Dri-fit" was a different font, and the swing tags that say "just do it" I noticed when I was un-bagging it.

Also, the lines on the "AUTHENTIC" looked dull. The washing instructions were all in Chinese (seriously, who else?) and it says "MADE IN THAILAND". I compared it to my '06 one, & the Barcelona logo on the front was way too soft. I worried that It would ripped if I stretched this product with enough strength. Also, the size says it's a mens "L", but it fits a little small for what it is. He gave me back the jersey, and that's probably why. I will upload photos of it pretty soon, I promise.

These are some shots of the jersey I said I had earlier today...your thoughts?? IMG_3474.JPG
First thing I noticed!!! The "AUTHENTIC" and the lining is grey, and not silver. FullSizeRender-2.jpg The Nike logo looks a little crooked on the first checkmark. FullSizeRender-3.jpg The size details are gone. It was a Men's L as i stated before. FullSizeRender-4.jpg The Chinese text I mentioned. That black spot on the photo "tag" is not part of the jersey. My camera lens is defect. FullSizeRender-5.jpg
The "TOTS UNITS FEM FORÇA" text is gone. Everything fell off on the first wash. IMG_3472.JPG
    "més que un club".
    FullSizeRender-1.jpg
The LFP patch looks a little dodgy to me, but I'm not an expert on patches. Sorry about the large photos, it's my camera. Authenticity matters, so I definitely won't be wearing this jersey (and I haven't worn it since I found out it was fake.

Hey guys, can you help me out with this Portugal Jersey (2014).
It's a player's version and so far it looks ok. Not sure about the white material on the inner side of the logo.
    Thanks!

That Portugal jersey is 100% fake. A very good fake that hopefully didn't cost more than $20 USD.

    * The 1 and 4 numbers in the badge should not be connected by thread
    * serial number 167113 is found on so many fakes. I myself have the same # on PSG and Barca jerseys. :)
    * webbing on back of badge

Again, these are minor details that no one would care by wearing them to play, but if they are being passed off as authentic, then that is a real problem.

Well, it always makes me smile when I read "is these fake or real" when the price is way below the official one!
The only way to be sure about is originality is to buy it directly from the club.

Otherwise if you want to save money, since even official shirts are made in Asia (mostly Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam and China) then be sure to chose carefully.

Me, I am a big fan of Barcelona team and found my happyness on this Barca jersey website:
    http://www.barcajerseys.com

Great quality (not sure jerseys are original, but quality shows it could be), reasonable prices, multi language speaking assistant taking care of customer service (and mails).
Shipping could be faster, but they are the only one I found offering 30 days money back satisfaction waranty!

Check it to believe it!

I recently bought a 2-3 year old nike arsenal jersey off ebay that looked legit (had all the tags, serial #, nike id, etc.). As soon as I threw it on I knew it was fake. Material didn't feel right. The fly emirates sponsor print was especially itchy/irritating on the skin on the inside of the jersey. I've never bought a jersey from a reputable store (arsenal armory stadium store, usa soccer store, FC Dallas team store, etc.) where the sponsor print felt like that. It's so bad that I have to wear an undershirt with it.

Just something else to think about.

just got this park ji sung 2002 world cup Korea jersey from ebay at $120. Going back and forth with seller about it being fake. No NIke collar tag but has side tags underneath the shirt. The jersey is pinkish and not as red as i thought it was in the picture. The color of the numbers are off too

I ended up with a fake Atletico Madrid Away 2014 jersey from eBay. The seller had no tell-tail signs of the typical counterfeit seller. However, I could totally identify the fake qualities.
I ended up buying the shirt from the Official Atletico Madrid team store. It cost slightly more, but at least I know it's real.

As far as the fake shirt... the seller did not have any tracking, so I just claimed that I never received it and got my refund ($50USD which is about right for last-year's shirt)

The only reliable sellers I will ever do business with (regarding footy shirts) are:
    SportsDirect
    House of Shirts
    Classic Football Shirts

    and any official team store.

If you want to buy from an individual, I suggest ALWAYS asking for pictures of the holograms and/or serial numbers... those will usually give it away.

It's a shame, because sometimes the only way to tell, is to have the shirt in-person. Sometimes the price being too low is not enough.

Soccer noob here, I bought a Real Madrid shirt from http://www.realmadridsoccerjersey.com and was wondering if this site is legit or not? I paid $90 for an authentic RM kit for the gf and hoping the 'real' deal. I tried cancelling the order but the parcel is already in the mail coming from China :/

Hi everyone, I have just bought a Liverpool 2010 home jersey at E-bay. The sponsor has became sticky for the past few days and I am worried. Is there anything I could do? Sorry for posting it here but I can't seems to find anyone who knows more than I do.
