It's India I'm putting forward that if Scotty Mac does not score in this game then he should never ever play for Aust again.
Australia 3 or 4 - India 1 Pretty much the stock standard team: ------------Schwarz------------ Wilkshire---Ogg---Neill---Carney ---Kilkenny/Jedi---Culina--------- --Emerton----Cahill----Kewell---- -----------MacDonald----------- I hope Kilkenny and Burns get some minutes. Burns in particular was impressive against the UAE.
It's a weird one. On paper we should absolutely blow these guys away but after last time no one's willing to outright say it. The media aren't anywhere near as interested as four years ago and our coach hasn't genuinely been tested until now (and potentially not until the South Korea game). The players can't be over-confident but at the same time we can't get carried away with not-underrating India to the point we overrate them. The coach has named a full-strength, all-attack XI but I wonder, would say SK or Japan do the same if they were facing India first up?
My source wasn't on the money, lineup is: Schwarzer Wilkshire, Neill, Ogmonster, Carney Emerton, Culina, Jedinak, Kewell/Holman Cahill, Holman/Kewell
Yep. It's panning out: -------------Schwarzer Wilkshire---Neill----Ogmonster---Carney ----------Culina------Jedinak Emerton----Kewell----Cahill-----Holman
download TVU, have windows media 11 and the channel is CCTV5 i watched the 2006 world cup on tvu when i was overseas
They really need to break faster, we're pushing both fullbacks up with effectively four forwards and we're still getting back before they hit our third.
Not even having the whole crowd behind is helping them unfortunately, lol. They're slowly starting to get confidence to shoot but most if not all have been offtargets.
Before the game began, I expected India to park the bus and frustrate Australia, but we haven't done that yet. We've tried to press ahead, and that makes me slightly happy. The bookies here are offering 1800:1 for a 3-3 draw after HT. I just bet Rs 500 (~10 USD) on that. Come on India
Greed. Things it makes people do Cahill misses a pretty good chance. Not a great game, by his standards.
