so is anyone here following it?

the mighty Bulls (queensland) beat NSW in their season opener, while WA Warriors thrashed Taz (no surprise).

Well, I follow it because it's domestic. I'll probably go to a few NSW games in Newcastle and Sydney.

You guys are all but out of the ING Cup after losing yesterday. It's going to be tough to make the final from a 0-3 start, but at least the mighty Vics won on Saturday... GO BUSHRANGERS!! :D

It means winning every match from now on and picking up the bonus points here and there, but it's doable. We have the advantage of a relatively high NRR despite 3 straight losses. Pura Cup is our best bet - still have some work to do, but we have a high quotient figure, which never hurts.

We should start performing a lot better over the coming rounds, particularly since the India squad has returned. Thornley has been playing well all season (not just his big score), Lee is back, and either Katich or Clarke will possibly be dumped from the Test team for the new series.

After stuffing up a fairly simple run chase yesterday in a rain-affected game against Western Australia, it's going to he hard for us (Victoria) to make the final from a 1-2 record. 30 runs off 30 balls with 9 wickets in hand should have been comfortable for us, but for some reason, we left it too late and fell 4 runs short.
